Carrying a firearm also carries a level of responsibility. The realities of today's society are as follows:
If a permit holder is not mentally prepared to use their weapon, that weapon may be the one used to harm them.
Drawing your weapon in certain situations may actually cause more problems than what it was meant to solve.
The Texas License to Carry is issued without obligation-you will not be required to use it. If you use it, it's by choice.
Most armed citizens do not know the physiological effects of their bodies under extreme stress, ie. gunfight.
Most states require only minimal training to obtain a weapon permit. It is important to periodically train to upkeep the skill of accuracy and gun handling.
Kevin is also a Certified School Safety Instructor (Guardian) and Texas Department of Public Safety Certified Level III Armed Security Instructor for classroom and range.
